What RugWard is#
RugWard is a set of free, non-custodial crypto safety tools: a token scanner that simulates a real buy and sell on-chain, a safe swap that scans before you sign, wallet and approval checks, Bitcoin and Monero tools, clean token launch contracts and RugWard Pay, a payment gateway that sends money straight to the merchant's own wallet.

Non-custodial means RugWard never holds your funds or keys. Every transaction is signed in your own wallet, and most tools need no wallet at all.
Supported chains#
The token scanner works on seven EVM chains (BNB Chain, the default, plus Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche) and on Solana. Not every tool is available everywhere; the Chains page has the live matrix.

| Tool | EVM chains | Solana |
|---|---|---|
| Token scanner, Explain, public API, widget, Telegram /scan | all 7 | yes |
| Safe Swap, Limit orders, DCA reminders, Safe Stake | all 7 | not yet |
| Approvals, Send Check, Wallet Tracker, Dev History, Profit Check, Scams Today | all 7 | approvals: token delegates only |
| LP lock alerts (PinkLock, UNCX) | BNB Chain, Ethereum, Polygon | yes (burned/locked LP per pool) |
| Create Clean Token, Clean Squad Launch | all 7 | not yet |
| Launchpad | BNB Chain mainnet; Base and Ethereum as testnet previews | devnet preview |
Bitcoin and Monero have their own tools: BTC & XMR swap and Bitcoin & Monero tools. Use the Network picker in the header to switch the default chain.
Connecting a wallet#
You only need a wallet to sign something: a swap, a revoke, a token launch or a merchant sign-in. Click Connect wallet; RugWard supports browser wallets and WalletConnect on EVM chains, Phantom, Solflare and Backpack on Solana, and UniSat, Xverse, Leather and OKX (read-only) for Bitcoin tools.
Before you sign, RugWard simulates the transaction where the chain allows it and shows what will change. Token approvals are always for the exact amount, never unlimited.
Safety rules RugWard follows#
- RugWard never asks for your seed phrase or private keys, and never asks you to "validate", "sync" or "unlock" a wallet. Anyone who does is impersonating RugWard.
- The only official Telegram bot is @RugWardBot; the only official X account is @RugWardHQ.
- Scan verdicts are automated risk signals from on-chain data, not financial advice and not a guarantee. A token can pass every check and still lose its value.
- Contracts that RugWard deployed are internally reviewed by RugWard: our own review, not an independent audit.
- Some features are not available in certain regions (HTTP 451). Users are responsible for complying with their local laws.
All tools are listed on one page, rugward.com/tools:

Where to go next#
- Token scanner and Explain: read a verdict.
- Safe Swap, limit orders and DCA: trade after a scan.
- RugWard Pay: accept crypto payments.
- Wallet safety tools: approvals, recipients, airdrops.
