RugWard public API

The same engine as the website: RugWard's own on-chain buy/sell simulation and contract checks for BNB Chain. Free tier: 1,000 requests per day and 60 per minute per key. JSON over HTTPS, CORS enabled.

GET /api/v1/scan?address=0x…
Full token scan: verdict, score, findings, buy/sell simulation, taxes, owner powers, liquidity and locks, clone check. Optional &chainId=56 (default, BNB Chain), 1 (Ethereum) or 8453 (Base).
GET /api/v1/address-check?address=0x…&from=0x…
Recipient check before sending: sanctions (Chainalysis oracle), token-contract mistakes, address-poisoning look-alikes of `from`'s contacts.
GET /api/v1/scams
Tokens flagged by hard on-chain evidence in the last 24 hours.

Responses and limits

200 JSON result. Headers x-ratelimit-remaining-day and x-ratelimit-limit-day show your quota.
400 invalid input, 401 missing/invalid key, 429 rate or daily limit (resets 00:00 UTC), 451 unavailable in your region, 502/504 BNB Chain nodes slow: retry with backoff.
Scan results are cached for 10 minutes. Verdicts are automated risk signals, not financial advice.

API terms

Free for personal and commercial use within the limits. Credit “Data: RugWard” where results are shown to users.
Do not resell raw results, share keys, or create keys to bypass limits; abusive keys are revoked.
No warranty: results can be wrong or outdated. Always let users verify with the full report.
