Monero tools

Free tools for Monero users. Non-custodial and key-free: RugWard never asks for your seed, private spend key or private view key, and none of these tools need them. If any site, app or "support agent" asks for your seed, it is a scam.

Fake wallet & site checker

Paste a website, a link someone sent you, or a wallet download URL. RugWard compares it with the official Monero sites, looks for look-alike domains (typos, other endings, foreign look-alike letters), checks a public phishing feed, the domain's age and HTTPS. The page itself is never opened or downloaded.

Remote node checker

Enter the remote node your wallet uses (host:port). RugWard calls its public get_info and compares the height with independent reference nodes, then checks sync, version, restricted RPC and TLS. Allowed ports: 80, 443, 8443, 18081, 18083, 18089. Private and local addresses are refused.

Public nodes we monitor

Checked every 15 minutes over TLS. "Up" means it answered on mainnet within 10 blocks of the reference height. Listing is not an endorsement: any remote node sees your IP.

Shareable payment proof

Turn a Monero payment into a link you can share with a buyer, seller or support team. RugWard checks the payment against two independent Monero nodes and saves only the result: transaction id, recipient address, verified amount, block and time. Anyone with the link sees live confirmations.

Make a proof in the CLI with get_tx_proof <txid> <address> [message] (it saves the proof to a file named monero_tx_proof; paste its contents here), or in the GUI under Advanced → Prove/check. A proof covers only this payment to this address; the proof is shown on the link so anyone can re-check it.

Never enter a seed, private spend key or private view key. RugWard never asks for them.
